Martina McBride @ The Puyallup Fair

Today, Wednesday Sept. 12, 2012, Martina McBride will be playing at the Puyallup Fair.  Many have named her the Celine Dion of Country Music.  Not sure I could compare her to Celine Dion (she is amazing), however, Martina McBride is an amazing singer.

To date, she has recorded 11 studio albums, a greatest hit album, a Xmas album, and two additional compilation albums.  At the age of 49, she has sold over 14 million albums.

Martina Mcbride, whose real name is Martina Mariea Schiff was born in Sharon Kansas. The small town had a population of around 200 people.

Seattle Snow Storm On The Way

If you watch the news, you obviously know a big snow storm is on the way.  It is predicted to slam Seattle late tonight and tomorrow.  In the event this storm drops more than 7 inches in a 24hr period it could be one of the top 10 storms of all time for the city of Seattle.  Forecasters are predicting 5-10 inches approximately. In Puyallup, Washington (south of Seattle) I know they are sitting on about 1.5 inches currently.  In the event of 9 inches of snow it would be the most in dropped in 27 years.

  • The most snow fall in a 24hr period for Seattle was Jan 31st 1916.  Amazingly 21.5 inches fell.
  • In 1985 – 8 inches of snow fell on Seattle Washington.
  • A snow and ice storm in 1996 shut down the city’s Metro for the first time in its history. Sumner & Puyallup RIPOFF REPORT!

It’s sad businesses continue to rip people off.  Do they really think in this digital age that nobody is going to report on their bad behavior?  They and many businesses think that they can just rip people off and walk away with a fatter wallet and there will be no consequences.  We recently had a very bad experience with that involved a “diagnosis fee” which in reality was just a smooth way of saying a travel fee.  They come out and try to switch a few things.  Tell you they think they know what the problem is, however, it doesn’t work.  Of course you pay for the equipment to try out their suggestion.  So we call them back out again and they try to fix the problem but can’t make it repeat.  They decide to call that a diagnosis fee.  Never did they mention this travelers fee before coming out.  The issue was discussed with management and they flat out denied a refund or partial refund or anything.  This company that serves many areas including Puyallup is trouble and not for the customer.  They are all about collecting fees and in my case not correcting the issue.  All I asked for was for them to come and fix the issue I called them about but they failed and failed miserably. If you live in the Puyallup, Sumner, or the South End areas please remember to use caution.  This is a real review and completely honest about their service.  I would never call Dicks Heating in Puyallup for anything and you should take this review as a caution when working with them.
