From the Southcenter Mall (about 15 min south of Seattle) to Westlake Center (downtown), Seattle downtown shopping is available everywhere. On any given day you’ll find plenty of shoppers looking for their next sun dress or a new pair of shoes. Seattle is also filled with outlets and a wide variety of art outlets. Down by Century Link Field you’ll find army outlets and unique furniture stores wanting your business.
The only downside to Seattle downtown shopping is the parking. It can be quite the hassle if you’re not used to it. Some shoppers will just taxi in to Seattle or park further away because it is not worth the headache of competing for Seattle parking. The big malls in downtown Seattle have parking garages which can make life easier sometimes. Due to recent city law changes, street parking will set you back $8 per hour so it’s important to figure that out before you start your Seattle downtown shopping tour.
